Frequently Asked Questions
Below you'll find the most frequently asked questions of Wish Horse. If you don't find what you're looking for here, you can email a WH member or post to the newsletter or message board with any additional questions.
I got my welcome letter, bank account and my horses' registration numbers. Now what?
The first steps you should take are finding a stable to board at and arranging for vet and farrier care for your horses. You can find a stable by browsing the stable list under the establishments link off the main page, and the vet and farrier's office may be found on the business list under establishments.
Once vet and farrier care is arranged, you can begin entering your horses in upcoming shows and races. Most members also make personal webpages for their horses, where they list their information and photographs. Remember that if you use a photograph to represent your sim horse you'll need to have gotten permission to do so from the horse's real life owner.
You should also start posting to the newsletter and message board and getting to know your fellow WHers.

How do I breed horses?
There are a few scenarios of how you may want to breed horses:
You own both a stallion and a mare that you'd like to breed. In this case, all you need to do is register the foal, making sure it is at least three years younger than the youngest parent and that the mare's year is available for a foal that age.
You own a mare and want to breed to an outside stallion. In this instance, assuming that the stallion is listed as being available for stud, contact the stallion owner with your proposed foal information and wait for them to approve it. If they have no problems with the stats of the proposed baby, pay the stud fee and you're free to register.
If you don't own a mare, you can contact a mare owner that is selling brood years and purchase one to create your foal. As with the outside stallion, send the mare owner the proposed foal stats before paying and registering.
If you have any questions that you'd like to see appear on the FAQ page, please contact Lexi and she'll put them up.
